"First and foremost I was googling electricians and having a hard time even getting a free quote from larger companies that advertise on tv, and from those fliers that come in the mail. All but one said they had to charge me a $49 - $69 call fee for them to come and out and give me a quote. I ended up googling recessed lights and came across az recessed lighting. I read the reviews and saw nothing but positive experiences, thought this is too good to be true. I called Troy (the owner) who was finishing up on a job and took the time to talk with me. I explained that I needed to add 5 more recessed lights, 3 in my kitchen and 2 more in a hallway that was a little dark. He took my info and emailed me the bid and gave me a quote. Called about a week later for him to come over and to make sure that the price was accurate based off my guesstimates of ceiling heights. Troy and another electrician came over the next day and installed the lights. During the installation he double checked the placement with me prior to placing the lights because of the ductwork in the attic and there was a stud in the way. I will say from the other place that gave me a free quote, he beat their price and I can only assume that he would have beaten the prices from the other big companies that required a service fee for an estimate. I would definitely recommend Troy and az recessed lighting to my friends, family, and anyone reading this review. He does not cut corners in his job and he even pointed out an unsafe wiring on the light that he had to use so the new lights could be on the same switch and fixed it. Its kind of nice to see a neighbor with a small business that treat his customers with honesty, pride, and the fact that Troy is a nice guy."

"Troy did a great job installing the recessed lights as well as patching the area that the old light was in. The lights have made a huge difference in our kitchen. This is a professional company that does quality work. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them again."

"Troy did a fantastic job of installing the recessed lighting, it was very clean and we were super impressed by his work. We requested him to do few additional patchwork and electrical fixes which he followed up and completed everything. He went over and beyond and did some drywall patching as well. Troy was terrific…
"Troy was terrific. He was prompt, polite, and communicated his ideas with our expectations. We had a unique, old, now-defunct smart-home system that scared away 2 other electricians. Troy easily worked around it, updated it, all while doing what we expected him; installing spotlights. He did attic-work, many electrical box re-wirings, 3 way switch replacements, smart-switch installations, and even checked out our air-condition and water heater that were acting up. We were concerned with our furniture and artwork that he needed to negotiate around. He covered everything up; moved furniture, and was quite reasonable in his prices. We left him alone many times in the house and would trust him to do the same in the future. Great guy. Knows what he can do (much more than advertised) and has resources for what he doesn't (like painting). Would definitely recommend him."
